Help a Family in Need
Gift a MealHelp us extend what we are able to provide by making a financial contribution. These contributions will be used to provide the families with additional meals as well as providing staples such as sugar, butter, bread, and eggs. In the event we have extra funds or the government shut down ends quickly any remaining balance will be used for donations to community organizations during the Holiday Season, such as Guilford Social Services and the Guilford Food Bank as well as helping the families who participated buy gifts for their children.

Personal Remarks
My family and I have been overwhelmed by the postive comments and support we have received since posting that we would be extending help to families loosing their benefits. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you for all the kind words! I have personally been in situations where I needed help and was blessed to receive it so this is simply a way to pay that kindness forward. Over the years we have been able to support various community charities and always do so in honor of my sister, Kaitlin Carney, who passed away in 2007.
